1. Density - Is one of the most misunderstood properties of memory foam. It is commonly thought that the higher the density of memory foam, the more comfortable the memory foam will be. When you first lie down on memory foam and feel yourself gradually sinking into it, you will naturally say "ooh" or "aah" (The "ooh and aah factor") - it is a very nice feeling! And it's enhanced by higher density - up to a point. If the density is too high then many people report that they feel that the foam feels too dense and too stiff. The denser foam is slower to recover from your body shape and weight as you toss and turn in bed. This is something you're not likely to notice while testing a topper in a bedding showroom! What is the solution? A memory foam that is dense enough to give a great "ooh and aah factor", but not too dense. After much experimentation we have found that 4-lb density foam offers the ideal sleep experience: plenty of "ooh" and "aah" and plenty of uninterrupted sleep because it reacts quickly to your contours when you roll over at night!	Tempur-pedic on the other hand offers 5 lb density foam - which may give more "ooh" and "aah" when you first lie but the slower recovery time of the foam may not be noticed at first. And 5 lb foam is more expensive than 4 lb foam!
