With our exceptional Comfort Max 300 mattress we go all out for well built and heavy people.

The Comfort Max 300 bed provides the winning combination of great comfort, good support and fantastic prices! We designed this specialty bed for our larger customers who weigh 250-300 lbs. We have received many requests for a bed with the feel of memory foam and yet with more support for big people. We listened…and developed the Comfort Max 300 bed (which can be referred to as a bariatric bed or a mattress used with bariatric furniture). The same quality foam and manufacturing featured in our exceptional range of memory foam and latex mattresses goes into this great new bed for heavy people. Memory foam is not a foam that is appropriate for someone who weighs over 250 lbs. A weight of 250 lbs and over will cause the memory foam not to fully recover. Because of this limitation with memory foam we have done extensive research and come up with the perfect foam to do the job.

The Superior Bed for Heavy People with Velvatex Foam

We combine state-of-the-art VITA Velvatex foam with premium VITA Ultra Cell High Resiliency Foam to make the world's most comfortable mattress for over weight people. VITA is the largest international foam producer and the exclusive manufacturer of VITA Elevate. Velvatex foam has the same resiliency and durability as latex, yet it is odorless, non allergenic and can be recycled. This superior foam provides the perfect support in a bed for big people. All our beds and their components are proudly manufactured in the USA.

The Comfort Max 300 mattress for over weight people has a 10" profile, with 5" of super deluxe Velvatex foam of varying densities and compression factors. The result is an exceptionally comfortable, purpose-engineered bed for heavy people with the right support, for a good, healthful night's sleep.

The Comfort Max 300 Mattress for Overweight People Has These Unique Features:

Luxurious Micro-Lux Cotton Blended Fabric Cover A premium tone-on-tone Mattelaise fabric with four-way stretch ability for greater comfort.
Dual layered VITA Velvatex Latex-like Foam that provides 15% more foam than many competing memory foam 8" models. These dual layers provide the right amount of support and comfort, making this a purpose-designed bed for heavy people.
Firmer Overall Edge Support for easier entry and exit to and from the bed – an important requirement in a bed for heavy people.
VITA Ultra Cell High Resiliency Base Foam, engineered to never fatigue or bottom out! This mattress for over weight people provides the perfect base level support. The mattress can be used as a bariatric bed.
8" Dura Life Heavy Duty Foundation is the same as that used in the Temprapedic model and is the made of kiln dried, yellow southern pine.
The foundation is covered in the identical matching Mattelaise Cotton-blend fabric and it is quilted, too. Competing models do not quilt this foundation cover.

Construction of the Comfort Max 300 Mattress – The Specialty Bed for Heavy People (250–300 lbs):

Top Layer: 2" of 4lb VITA Velvatex Latex-like Foam with 15 IFD compression. This super comfortable surface layer reduces pressure points and lessens the ability of the capillaries to contract. Thus, tossing and turning is considerably lessened or eliminated, allowing for a deeper, more healthful sleep.
Second Layer: 3" of 4lb VITA Velvatex Latex-like Foam with a 40 IFD compression. This layer provides gentle cushioning to the upper and middle torso. As gravity draws the sleeper into the mattress, this slightly firmer layer of VITA Velvatex foam senses the spread of the body's weight and provides subtle, consistent resistance as the sleeper transitions into the next support layer.
Third Layer (Support Layer): 5" of VITA Ultra Cell High Resiliency base foam. This ultra-premium polyurethane foam is found predominately in designer Italian leather sofas. We use this premium foam to help maintain proper spinal alignment, night after night, making this mattress for over weight people very useful in reducing backaches.

These carefully constructed layers create a remarkably comfortable and supportive bed for heavy people with a full 10" profile. This mattress for overweight people can be used with bariatric furniture.

The luxurious Micro-Lux Cotton-blended fabric is woven soft to the touch and designed to provide years of restful sleep. Micro-Lux is a handsome premium tone-on-tone Mattelaise material. Mattelaise is the latest fashion in the bedding industry and is the new material used by Temprapedic. It's four-way stretching ability assists in reducing uncomfortable pressure often caused by firm non-stretch fabrics. This fine durable fabric is 50% Rayon, 40% Polyester and 10% Cotton.

Trial Period
We do not offer our usual 30 day trial on the Comfort Max 300 because this is essentially a custom made mattress. But we offer our standard warranty on the Comfort 300.

*The two-piece or "split" foundation is for people who have tight space that would hamper the delivery of a large, rigid queen size foundation. These are usually older homes with narrow staircases. Please note that all king foundations are split.

White Glove Shipping

White Glove Mattress Delivery Our White Glove Shipping Upgrade will deliver your new mattress and foundation to your home, unpack and place it in your bedroom. The local delivery agent will call ahead to arrange a convenient delivery time. When you order, please let us know if there will be any stair-carry or elevator lift to your residence or bedroom (additional fees may apply). Note that will be necessary to have your bed frame empty and ready for delivery. Shipping boxes and packaging will all be removed, unless you specifically request the driver to leave them.

Our usual shipping time from date of ordering is 2-3 weeks. White Glove service may add one week to that time. So, White Glove shipping will take from 2-4 weeks.

During our sale we will offer this shipping service for $109.00 per mattress set -- a $250 value!

You have a 24 hour grace period to cancel your bed order. Our mattresses ship very promptly, so any cancellations after 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee. After 24 hours your mattress is most likely already on its way to you. The fee is to cover return shipping, and will depend on actual shipping rate from your location. It will be deducted from your payment refund.
