Made of solid natural, sustainable hardwood and finished with Pure, Natural Danish Linseed Oil. Each finished piece is carefully crafted in the USA and hand-rubbed to a beautiful finish. The following are descriptions of the three slatted platform beds, each sculpted with an elegant arch. The VistaNatural Wood Platform Bed Set features a solid headboard with a gently curving arch, while the El Pasofeatures stylish vertical dowels in the headboard, and the Alpha has a simple headboard design that includes parallel curved arches. Headboard height of the Alpha and El Paso is 35”and the height of the Vista is 38.5" from the floor. Each design is meticulously created by expert craftsmen who are proud of the finished furniture they create as well as their company, Ramblinwood.
Each Sustainable Wood Platform Bed is built with care and attention to detail. From raw lumber to finished furniture, each piece of wood is repeatedly inspected, and handled over 250 times. Only the finest sustainable natural hardwoods are used, ensuring that your bed frame will last for many generations. Harder woods are known to be stronger, last longer, and are more resistant to nicks, dents, and scratches, than soft woods. Hardwoods are used in all high quality wooden furniture.
Shown above are the woods and finishes offered with these bed models. It is possible to order your bed in either natural red oak, natural bamboo or natural hard maple. Most of these fine, sustainable woods can be ordered untreated, or treated with a Natural Light Danish Linseed Oil finish or Natural Dark Danish Linseed Oil finish – and hand-rubbed to perfection. Laminated Bamboo is an extremely beautiful and sustainable wood that is known for its strength and ability to flex under loading. This makes it an ideal wood for furniture, although it is not a hardwood and more care needs to be taken to protect it from nicks and scratches. All of our Wooden Arched Bed finishes are pure, and free of Volatile Organic Compounds, VOC's, and Heavy Metal Drying Agents.
These arched backed natural wood bed designs are available in Twin, TwinXL, Full, and Queen sizes and come with a slatted platform base. Each can be ordered as a platform bed to be used with either a low or high profile mattress, or for use with a combination mattress and foundation. Please measure your mattress, or mattress/foundation combination and choose the correct height online at checkout time. Note: Platform beds do not require foundations; but a mattress and foundation combination is an option and can be specified without extra charge. The standard height of the platform is 12" off the floor. If you choose the mattress plus foundation configuration then your platform will be 9" off the ground.

Other customization is also available, but must be special ordered. Should you or your partner happen to weigh over 240 lbs, these platform bed frame sets can also be outfitted with more slats or with heavyweight slats to accommodate the added weight. As well, each bed set automatically comes with one center support, or two center supports in the case of King and California King sizes. An additional support leg may also be added. The standard platform height off the floor is 12" (or 9" in the case of a mattress plus foundation configuration). If you would like your bed to be lower off the floor or higher we can also customize this for you. In addition, we offer expedited production time with a 5 business day turn around. Your new platform bed frame set will ship by UPS or FedEx Ground, and will be sent separately from other items you may order. Once an item ships, you will be receiving shipping confirmation and tracking information as long as we have provided a valid email address. Please note that although we make every effort to pack and ship every item securely, you must inspect the boxes and bed frame for any damages that might have occurred during shipping. If an item happens to be damaged and not acceptable to you, do not accept delivery and notify us immediately.
