In review, the deluxe Optima (now called the S-cape) adjustable bed includes a variety of massage and specialty features, while the Profile (now called the ProMotion) is the more economical of the two adjustable bed frames and hosts only basic features. Now let's now take some time to choose your adjustable bed mattress.
How do you choose one adjustable bed mattress over another?
Many mattresses are not suitable for use with adjustable bed frames. For example: You would not want a mattress with too high of a profile because adjustable beds move up and down and a mattress must have sufficient flexibility to be able to move in unison with the adjustable frame. A mattress with a profile of 12.5 inches or less will be most suitable. Also, our Optima adjustable bed frames are massage beds, and for this reason you do not want a mattress with too high of a profile because it may prevent you from adequately feeling and getting significant benefits from the massaging feature. For this reason also, it is good to select a mattress with a profile of 12 1/2 inches or less.
The other important consideration is that your mattress should not be too stiff, and therefore you would not want an innerspring mattress. Memory foam and latex mattresses are ideal for adjustable bed frames and especially a memory foam mattress with a profile of 12 inches or less. Memory foam and latex mattresses have the flexibility necessary to move with the motions of adjustable bed frames, and the massage beds mechanisms can easily be felt through the foam. In addition, memory foam and latex mattresses are extremely comfortable and only enhance the many luxurious features of adjustable beds.

Note: The ProMotion and Optima adjustable bed frames are not eligible for our 30 night trial and are not returnable. The weight and shipping costs make returns impossible. We would never be able to offer such low prices if we had to account for potential return costs. All of our customers so far have loved this product. But remember, Leggett Platt offers an excellent 20 year warranty on the Optima and 5 year warranty on the ProMotion. In the first year Leggett Platt will repair or replace any defective part at no cost to the purchaser for parts, labor or transportation.
