An ErgoSoft all natural latex foam mattress topper is a luxurious upgrade for your bed and may even eliminate the need to buy a new mattress. It is made of pure 100% Dunlop latex, the most natural latex available and is both people-friendly (ergonomic) and eco-friendly.

* Pounds (lbs) refers to the density in pounds per cubic foot. The higher the number of pounds (lbs), the more dense (and also more firm) the product.
IFD is "indentation force deflection" is a measure of the load bearing capacity of the foam. It measures the force (in pounds) required to cause a certain percentage of compression of a very specific sample of the material. The higher the IFD, the more dense (and also more firm) the product. Both IFD and lbs measurements are methods to compare foam products and estimate softness. In general latex tends to be more dense then other foams and is therefore more firm then other foams. This is the reason most people prefer the softer latex, which is the Medium Soft 4.75 lb latex. It is also less expensive then the denser/firmer latex options. The Ideal Dunlop Latex Mattress Topper
Dunlop latex is the highest quality all natural latex, known for its "green", eco-friendly qualities. These fabulous toppers are perfect for sensitive and discriminating individuals, as they do not contain synthetic additives. ErgoSoft latex is a pure natural latex product and contrasts with many popular latex blends which are often promoted by other manufacturers as "natural" when they actually contain a small (or large) percentage of synthetic latex or additives.

The purpose of adding synthetic latex is to give the manufacturers greater control over the feel of the finished product. The gain is a greater range of firmness or softness of the finished foam and increased ability to customize the qualities and features, with the downside being that sensitive individuals may not be able to use the product, because it is actually not all natural. Natural latex has a better feel and a better smell.
The term "Dunlop" refers to the specific procedure employed to create a finished foam product from the original raw liquid latex "batter". Read more about the Dunlop latex process. Please note: Natural latex is poured in a mold that contains small metal posts in order to create ventilation holes in the finished product, and that the toppers are cut to size along these perforation holes. Although there may appear to be small irregularities around the holes or the edge of the foam, these are quite natural and are not in any way a defect in the material.
Order WITH or Without a 100% cotton quilted cover: Our ErgoSoft Latex mattress topper can be ordered with a superb 200-count cotton cover. This luxuriously cover is quilted with a 7 oz. Polyfill to wick away body moisture. The 100% cotton layer gives breathability, helping you to sleep cooler in summer and warmer in winter.
Not only does the cover help with comfort, it also protects the latex foam from body oils that could break down the foam material over time. Our covers have a 15" deep pocket skirt. This will allow you to easily wrap it around your topper and underlying mattress. The cover can be removed for laundering and is washing machine safe. If you do not order the cotton quilted cover we recommend that you use some sort of mattress pad cover on your latex mattress pad for breathability and to protect the foam. We also offer several types of latex toppers with upholstered organic cotton quilted covers. PLEASE NOTE: Your Topper may be shipped separately from your cotton-quilted cover.

A Natural Latex Mattress Topper Versus a Memory Foam Mattress Topper
If you are trying to decide between our memory foam mattress toppers and our ErgoSoft Natural Latex Mattress Toppers, here are some of the basic differences: Latex is known for its longevity, durability, resilience, and luxurious feel. Because latex is so springy and resilient, it is appropriate for heavier body weights, as it will spring back and recover time and again. Latex also tends to have a more firm feel, making it ideal for those who like a firm sleep surface.
In addition, our Ergosoft latex is all natural latex with no additives. This naturalness has its own special feel and comfort.
In contrast, Memory Foam issynthetic polyurethane visco-elastic foam, which istemperature-sensitive and adjusts to the body's weight and temperature. Memory Foam got its name from the fact that it remembers or recovers from body impressions more slowly than springy latex foam, giving it an extremely cuddly and softly responsive feel. However, this also makes memory foam less desirable for body weights of 250 lbs or more, as the material will eventually lose its ability to recover.
