The Sleep Zone 2 inch memory foam matress cover is our entry level "cheap" memory foam mattress pad made of 2.5 lb density memory foam.
The Sleep Zone twin matress cover starts at a low $69. But this is not just an economical choice because the memory foam used to construct the Sleep Zone topper is made by Foamex, the premier American memory foam manufacturer. Foamex is the manufacturer of Sensus 5 lb memory foam which is the finest memory foam available. The same high standards are used to construct the lower density Sleep Zone matress covers. The superior quality of the Sleep Zone mattress topper has the feel of the 3lb toppers of other foam manufacturing companies and is far superior to the 2lb density cheap memory foam mattress toppers sold in major department stores like Walmart and Target.
Memory foam is not generic. Different weights (density) and manufacturing methods create a different feel and a different support.
The lower the density the less "memory" in the foam. This means that the foam makes less of an impression when an individual changes positions on the foam. A "cheap" memory foam pad will tend to have a lower density. Memory Foam with a high density will remember each impression for a longer amount of time. This is not always so ideal, especially if an individual tends to move frequently when sleeping. High density foam won't move with the individual and will hold the impression for so long that the individual will feel that he or she is rolling back into the old impression.
Usually a cheap memory foam mattress topper sold in a department stores like Walmart or Target does not identify the density because they do not want to bring attention to the low weight and quality. It usually is very inexpensive, inferior quality and is no more than 2lb density.
Sleep Zone's 2 inch memory foam matress cover has a luxurious feel and because it is made with high quality 2.5 lb lower density memory foam you will not feel you are sinking into the foam but hovering on top of it.
As
mentioned above the lower density foam does not make big impressions. The 2
inch height is high enough to add a substantial amount of comfort to any mattress

This lovely cotton matress cover is quilted with a 7 oz. poly-fill
to wick away body moisture.
The
100% cotton layer is essential in giving the memory foam more breathability.
With this cover you will sleep cooler in summer and warmer in winter. Not
only does the cover help with comfort, it also protects the memory foam
from body oils that could break down the foam material over time. Our covers
for the 2 inch memory foam pad have a 15" deep pocket skirt. This
will allow you to easily wrap it around your topper and underlying mattress.
The cover can be removed for laundering and is washing machine safe. (Sorry,
we do not sell the covers separately).
In addition we also sell a very fine Beautyrest Spa matress cover made of thick velour terry cloth. This is the most luxurious mattress cover we have ever seen and we know you will think so too!
Order without a cotton cover: This option saves money but we recommend that you use some sort of matress cover on your memory foam pad for breathability and to protect the foam.

Note: Our Memory Foam Toppers are slightly smaller than bed sizes to accommodate sheets and avoid edging. Our research indicates that there is no noticeable comfort difference between two and three inch memory foam products.

When your topper or pillows are shipped you will receive email notification of the shipping date, tracking number, and estimated date of arrival at your home. Since the packed topper carton falls in the UPS "oversize" category, there is a shipping charge of $19.95 for delivery to any of the lower 48 states on orders totaling less than $195. We gladly accept orders from any worldwide destination – please ask for a shipping quote.

If you wish to return the topper, just call for return authorization and return the product in an unsoiled and undamaged condition and in its original packaging.
