The fabulous latex foam mattress has a 10 inch profile and is composed of several layers of varying densities of Vita Velvatex, a premium domestic synthetic latex foam.
This specially designed adjustable bed Velvetex latex foam mattress is firm to support the heavier weights, while yet remaining comfortable. Please note that his latex foam mattress does not contain memory foam, which doesn't perform well for body weights over 250 lbs.

Memory foam is not the best choice for those who weigh over 250 lbs, since these weights will tend to cause the memory foam to wear more quickly and not fully recover from body impressions. The Specialty Adjustable Latex Foam Mattress for the Over Weight (250–300 lbs):
- Top Layer: 2" of 4lb VITA Velvatex synthetic latex foam with 15 IFD compression. This super comfortable surface layer reduces pressure points and lessens the ability of the capillaries to contract. Thus, tossing and turning is considerably lessened or eliminated, allowing for a deeper, more healthful sleep.
- Second Layer: 3" of 4lb VITA Velvatex synthetic latex foam with a 40 IFD compression. This layer provides gentle cushioning to the upper and middle torso. As gravity draws the sleeper into the cozy latex bed, this slightly firmer layer of VITA Velvatex foam senses the spread of the body's weight and provides subtle, consistent resistance as the sleeper transitions into the next support layer.
- Third Layer (Support Layer): 5" of VITA Ultra Cell High Resiliency base foam. This ultra-premium polyurethane foam is found predominately in designer Italian leather sofas. We use this premium foam to help maintain proper spinal alignment, night after night, making this mattress for over weight people very useful in reducing backaches.

We supply free curbside shipping on all MATTRESS ONLY orders. Your S-cape Adjustable Bed Platform or ProMotion Adjustable Bed Platform will be delivered by White Glove Shipping at no extra charge (latex foam mattress included). White Glove delivery to your home is estimated to take 4 – 6 weeks. See our shipping page for details. Stair-carry and old-bed-removal services may be available in your area; please request an estimate. |
FOR MATTRESS ONLY ORDERS -- Our White Glove Shipping Upgrade will deliver your new adjustable mattress and foundation to your home, unpack and place it in your bedroom. The local delivery agent will call ahead to arrange a convenient delivery time. When you order, please let us know if there will be any stair-carry or elevator lift to your residence or bedroom (additional fees may apply). Note that will be necessary to have your bed frame empty and ready for delivery. Shipping boxes and packaging will all be removed, unless you specifically request the driver to leave them. Our usual shipping time from date of ordering is 2-3 weeks. White Glove service may add one to two weeks to that time. So, White Glove shipping will take from 4-6 weeks. Note on Cancellations:
You have a 24 hour grace period to cancel your bed order. Our Leggett & Platt Adjustable Bed Frame and Comfort Max Latex Foam Bed Mattress ship very promptly, so any cancellations after 24 hours may be subject to a $250 cancellation fee. After 24 hours your order is most likely already on its way to you. The $250 deduction is to cover the return shipping. It will be deducted from your payment refund.
Both the ProMotion electric adjustable bed and the S-cape adjustable bed are shipped free and - a $395 value, shipping within 4-6 weeks and in addition we ship them full white glove service. Your electric adjustable bed will be placed in your bedroom, set up and the boxes removed.
Note: The ProMotion and S-cape adjustable bed frames are not eligible for our 30 night trial and are not returnable. The weight and shipping costs make returns impossible. We would never be able to offer such low prices if we had to account for potential return costs. All of our customers so far have loved this product. But remember, Leggett Platt offers an excellent 20 year warranty on the S-cape and 5 year warranty on the ProMotion. In the first year Leggett Platt will repair or replace any defective part at no cost to the purchaser for parts, labor or transportation within the continental US.
