The 100% cotton layer is essential in giving the memory foam more breathability. With this cover you will sleep cooler in summer and warmer in winter. Not only does the cover help with comfort, it also protects the memory foam from body oils that could break down the foam material over time. Our covers for the 3 inch memory foam pad have a 15" deep pocket skirt. This will allow you to easily wrap it around your topper and underlying mattress. The cover can be removed for laundering and is washing machine safe. (Sorry, we do not sell the covers separately).
