The Ultimate Sleep Mattress is covered with a two-way stretch knit which is woven into imported premium Belgian Damask fabric, providing a super-soft touch on the surface of the European styled quilted top. The fabric is treated with Cool Max® which most efficiently wicks away moisture and adds long-lasting durability, gives you great breath-ability while still conducting body heat through to the memory foam. It is your own body temperature which creates the magic of memory foam -- it responds to your individual shape and weight cradling you in comfort and support. The cooling property of Cool Max® fabric reduces the extra heat that may be generated by memory foam.

The Tempur-Pedic mattresses are covered in a variety of fabrics ranging from terry velour to a cashmere finished fabric.

Now this is what really makes this mattress unique: The Ultimate Sleep Mattress uses 2 inches of 4lb density memory foam on top with 2 additional inches of Velvatex® Latex just underneath to support it.

The 4 lb memory foam has two advantages. It is firm but has some "give" to it. The other advantage is that 4 lb density foam has a faster recovery time. When you move from position to position the foam moves with you so you feel you are floating on top of the bed. This lighter foam is the key. The next layer is made up of Velvatex Engineered Latex.
