Our MemorRest Mattress has a 10.5" profile. A profile higher than most other memory foam mattreses. This is a full 24% thicker than most competing models and at a much lower price.

The profile of the entry level Tempur-Pedic mattres comes in three sizes: 8", 9" and 10". The OriginalBed, ClassicBed and DeluxeBed mattreses have a lower profile than the Memor Rest memory foam mattres.

The MemorRest is an entry level memory foam mattres and comes with traditional European pillow top styling.

Tempur-Pedic's three entry level mattreses (the Original, Classic and Deluxe models) do not come in a pillow top style.

The MemorRest Mattress comes with a Premium Belgian Damask Cotton Cover quilted to 2.75 oz of silk-fiber blend which eliminates the common problem of heat build up found in most memory foam mattreses. It gives you great breath ability and is designed to wick away perspiration and moisture build up while it still conducts body heat through to the memory foam. It is your own body temperature which creates the magic of memory foam: it responds to your individual shape and weight bringing great comfort.

The 3 entry level Tempur-Pedic mattreses are covered by a terry velour cover.

Now this is what really counts: MemorRest uses 4 lb density memory foam. This has two advantages. It is firm but has some give to it. The other advantage is that 4 lb density foam has a faster recovery time. When you move from position to position the foam moves with you, so you feel you are floating on top of the mattres. This lighter foam is the key.

Tempur-Pedic uses 5lb density foam. Many people feel that 5 lb density foam is firm without much give.

Our 8" DuraLife foundation is made of pure kiln dried yellow southern pine covered in matching Premium Belgian Damask cover. Matching in the same style to the MemorRest Mattres.

Our foundation is similiar to Tempur-Pedic's, in fact it is produced by the same manufacturer.

Our Base foam is 6" of High Resiliency high-density polyurethane British Vita foam. The bottom of the mattress cover has an expensive Hanes Converting Grip-Tite base to prevent any lateral movement on the foundation.

Tempur-Pedic's 8 inch mattress comes with 5" of the same high resiliency high-density polyurethane foam. Their 10 inch mattress comes with 7" of the same foam.
