This Comfort Max Velvetex latex foam bed was specially engineered for the over weight individual weighing over 300 lbs. This super 10 inch profile high-performance adjustable latex foam bariatric bed includes two layers of varying density Vita Velvatex domestic latex foam. This comfortable and firm latex foam bed features extra support for the heavier weights demanded in a bariatric bed. There is no memory foam in this latex foam bed due to the inability of memory foam to perform well at weights over 250 lbs.

We combine state-of-the-art VITA Velvatex Foam with Premium VITA Ultra Cell High Resiliency Foam to make the world's most comfortable bariatric adjustable bed for heavy people. Velvatex Foam has the same resiliency and durability as Latex, yet it is odorless, non allergenic and can be recycled. It has the added support and extra comfort needed for a bariatric bed for over weight people. This adjustable latex foam bed can be used as a set with our Leggett & Platt adjustable bed frames or as an independent domestic latex foam bed. The Comfort Max 400 latex foam bed mattress has a 10" profile that includes 5" of super-deluxe Velvatex Foam and 5" of VITA Ultra Cell foam which translates into an exceptionally comfortable adjustable bariatric bed for our wonderful heavy customers!!

- Luxurious Micro-Lux Cotton Blended Fabric Cover A premium tone-on-tone Mattelaise fabric with four-way stretch ability for greater comfort.
- A Plush 5" Layer of Velvatex Foam that provides 15% more foam than many competing 8" models. Velvatex Foam is a superior natural latex alternative that provides superior comfort, unmatched durability, and exceptional resiliency. This latex foam bed can also be used on a bariatric bed frame or adjustable platform.
- Firmer overall edge support allowing for easier entry and exit from the adjustable latex foam bariatric bed. This translates into a more effortless sleep experience essential for the health of heavy people.
- VITA Ultra Cell High Resiliency Base Foam, a high-performance, highly resilient, flexible urethane support base foam. Construction of the Comfort Max 400 Adjustable Latex Foam Bed – The Specialty Bariatric Bed for Heavy People (300–400 lbs):
- Top Layer: 5" 4lb VITA Velvatex Latex-like Foam with a 40 IFD compression. This layer of latex-like foam provides gentle cushioning to the upper and middle torso. As gravity draws the sleeper into the cozy latex foam bed, the VITA Velvatex foam senses the weight of the whole body and provides subtle, yet consistent resistance as the sleeper transitions into the next support layer. The extra support provided in this surface layer is essential in an adjustable bariatric bed for over weight, heavy people. Pressure points are reduced, as well as a reduction in contraction of the capillaries. Tossing and turning is lessened or eliminated, allowing for a deeper, more healthful sleep. Heavy people will find their sleep to be much improved.
- Second Layer (Support Layer) consists of 5" of VITA Ultra Cell High Resiliency Base Foam. This ultra-premium polyurethane foam is predominately found in designer furniture. We use this premium foam in our adjustable latex foam bed to help maintain spinal alignment, night after night, helping to reduce back aches as one enjoys a more nourishing sleep. This purpose-engineered adjustable latex foam bed for heavy people can also be used on a bariatric bed frame, platform, or adjustable hospital bed.

The luxurious Micro-Lux Cotton-blended fabric is woven soft to the touch and designed to provide years of restful sleep. Micro-Lux is a handsome premium tone-on-tone Mattelaise material. Mattelaise is the latest fashion in the bedding industry and is the new material used by Tempur-pedic®. It's four-way stretching ability assists in reducing uncomfortable pressure often caused by firm non-stretch fabrics. This fine durable fabric is 50% Rayon, 40% Polyester and 10% Cotton.

Free MemorRest The two-piece or "split" models are generally for people who prefer independent adjustable bed units or have tight space that would hamper the delivery of a large, heavy, and rigid foundation (usually older homes with narrow staircases). We supply free curbside shipping on all MATTRESS ONLY orders. Your S-cape Adjustable Platform or ProMotion Adjustable Platform will be delivered by White Glove Shipping at no extra charge (latex foam bed mattress included). White Glove delivery to your home is estimated to take 4 – 6 weeks. See our shipping page for details.
Note on Cancellations:
You have a 24 hour grace period to cancel your bed order. Our mattresses ship very promptly, so any cancellations after 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee. After 24 hours your mattress is most likely already on its way to you. The fee is to cover return shipping, and will depend on actual shipping rate from your location. It will be deducted from your payment refund.
Both the ProMotion adjustable bed and the S-cape adjustable bed are shipped free and - a $395 value, shipping within 4-6 weeks and in addition we ship them full white glove service. Your adjustable bed will be placed in your bedroom, set up and the boxes removed. Stair-carry and old-bed-removal services may be available in your area; please request an estimate.
Note: The ProMotion and S-cape adjustable bariatric bed frames are not eligible for our 30 night trial and are not returnable. The weight and shipping costs make returns impossible. We would never be able to offer such low prices if we had to account for potential return costs. All of our customers so far have loved this product. But remember, Leggett Platt offers an excellent Lifetime Limited Warranty on the S-Cape and the ProMotion. In the first year Leggett Platt will repair or replace any defective part at no cost to the purchaser for parts, labor or transportation within the continental US.
