The Tempurpedic foam because of the 5lb foam's slow recovery time will tend to pull you back into the foam as you move from position to position. Unlike tempurpedic, the 4lb memory foam in our mattress has a faster recovery time and so tends to be supported as you glide from position to position. Another unique consideration is the height of the mattress. Memory foam matresses comes in various heights and so you will want to consider how high of a profile do you want your bed to have. The new higher profile tempurpedic matresses can make the bed look very bulky.

Tempurpedic matresses come with a variety of warranties.

Make sure the company that your purchase from offers a good warranty and a free trial period. This is important because you may find after a few days that you are not happy with your tempurpedic matress. If the company you order your mattress from has a free trial period then you are able to get a refund and then find a mattress that better suites you. If not, then you will be saddled with a mattress that you can either sell for a fraction of what you paid for it, or keep it and not be happy with your purchase.
